History of Thompson Funeral Home

The Thompson Funeral Home has been an integral part of the community for more than 80 years. The Thompson family began to serve Aurora and the neighbouring communities in 1921 when P.M. Thompson began the legacy of Thompson Funeral Home.

We have since seen the business transfer ownership through two more generations of Thompsons and in 1998, the Thompson family made the decision to become part of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers.
